USDA provides for free school meals

Starting this week, students in grades PK-12 will have access to free breakfast and lunch meals through a new USDA program. Students will not be charged for regular school meals. Spencer woman sent to federal prison for meth conspiracy

A woman who conspired to distribute methamphetamine was sentenced Sept. 3 to more than six years in federal prison. Shana Mull, 33, of Spencer received the prison term after a March 19 guilty plea to conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine. Evidence at the plea and sentencing hearings showed that between June of 2019 and August of 2019, Mull and others conspired to distribute more than 10 pounds of methamphetamine in the Iowa Great Lakes area. ...
