On Saturday the Hy-Noon Kiwanis Club hosted its annual Triathlon (1/2 mile swim/12miles biking around the lake and a 5K run). This year a Duathlon (1 mile run/12 mile bike and 5K run) was added. Fifty-nine individuals entered the Triathlon. Two three-person teams also entered. The Duathlon drew 10 participants. The overall winner of the Triathlon was Cole Satterwhite of Sioux City with a time of 1 hour 14 minutes 29 seconds. The kids came up with the idea to make rubber band bracelets and have a lemonade stand.
