PERRY - The Storm Lake Girls’ Swim Team finally took to the water for a full meet on Tuesday. The format was a double dual and Storm Lake won both their duals. STORM LAKE - The sun was shining brightly on numerous schools Tuesday night at the Storm Lake Invitational. With a slight breeze, the green and white boys took ninth place out of 14 schools, Ridge View unable to field a scoring boys’ team. On the girls’ side, the Raptors finished in 10th place out of the 14 teams, Storm Lake taking 14th place. Humboldt won the boys meet as Harlan claimed the girls...

Last Friday night the Storm Lake Tornadoes was defeated by the Humboldt Wildcats, 28-6. In what has been a strange turn of events, the Wildcats have had to forfeit that win from a week ago after finding out an ineligible player had taken the field for two snaps in the game...
