Average retail gasoline prices in Iowa have fallen 1 cent per gallon in the past week, averaging $2.57/gallon early this week. This compares with the national average that has fallen 5.4 cents per gallon in the last week to $2.51. Storm Lake pump prices have fallen more dramatically, easing down from $2.40 to $2.31 as of Monday at many stations. Alta prices were typically higher, at $2.40 Monday.
