SIOUX RAPIDS - The Rebels only needed three sets on Thursday night to dispatch the West Bend-Mallard Wolverines to get their second win of the year. The set scores were 25-19, 25-21 and 25-15. “Although we got the win we struggled in a few areas. We ended up with 14 miss serves in three matches,” Rebel coach Sara Grossnickle said. “Whenever we would go on a run we would miss a serve giving WBM momentum. SIOUX RAPIDS - Football is a game filled with opportunities to swing the momentum your way. Sioux Central took advantage of that by pouncing on three South O’Brien fumbles, taking one back to the house, to aid their 27-7 season opening win. SPIRIT LAKE - For the first time this year, the Storm Lake cross country runners got the chance to hit the course and take part in their first race, the Spirit Lake Invitational.
