Fugitive apprehended after 7-plus-hour manhunt

At 9:45 a.m. Thursday, local law enforcement concluded its search for a fugitive which began nearly 7 1/2 hours earlier. Justin Albright, of Sioux City, was taken into custody in the 1200 block of West Seventh Street in Spencer. Law enforcement converged on the area after a homeowner reported to a nearby Clay County Sheriff's deputy that the suspect had just fled from her garage at 1113 W. Tyson purchases County Shop

Buena Vista County Supervisors approved a $350,000 bid, received from Tyson Foods for the purchase of its County Shop at 401 Hudson Street. Tyson will take possession of the property, made of up two parcels, on April 1 of next year.
