Audit reports city funding, spending

A recent audit report was performed for the City of Alta. The City took in receipts of $1.92 million for the year ending June 30, 2020 - about $633,000 in property taxes, $572,000 in fees for services, $299,000 in intergovernmental revenue and $217,000 in local option sales tax.

Expenditures were slightly higher than what the City took in - $1.94 million. Disbursements included over $358,000 for public safety, $384,000 for public works, $294,000 for culture and recreation, and $531,000 for business activities.
