Shaking shakers to our opening song and closing song, that we begin before story time and before the children go home.

Toddle Time is held at the library on Fridays at 10:30 a.m. Children ages 5 and under are welcome to come and enjoy a story and other fun activities. Daycares are welcome!

The toddlers start our singing their opening song “It’s Time for Storytime” and then we play music instruments to the song. We also sing a closing song “The More We Get Together” at the end of our story time.

On April 23rd and 30th, the toddlers enjoyed the stories “My Barn” and “Big Red Barn”. They named the farm animals and made their sounds and movements. Their craft was making a cow puppet.

We made cow puppets and made the cow sound.

At story time in May we read “A Perfectly Messed Up Story” where they learned rules about how to take care of books by not eating or drinking around books, or coloring in them etc. We did a couple of fun activities that went along with the books.

On May 14th the toddlers enjoyed the story “A Hippy-Hoppy Toad”, following the story we did several fun activities. The craft for the day was coloring a frog.

Coloring their make-and-take Frog that went with the story.
Singing “Five Green and Speckled Frogs” and the children came and took a frog off the log and put in the pond.
