Seven youth from Sac County recently participated in the Scratch your Video Game Itch Camp at the Sac County Extension Office. The participants played Olympic games with Dot. For the rest of the camp, the participants used Scratch and designed their video games. At the end of the camp, the youth attached Makey-Makey’s to their games and parents came in at the end of the camp and played each video game. After the parents played each video game, they voted on which game had the least amount of flaws and the one they enjoyed playing the most. Max Manternach was the winner and went home with thumb chucks! For more information about the camp or to join 4-H, please contact the Sac County Extension and Outreach Office at 712-662-7131 or email: erpeldin@iastate.edu.
