5 years old: I go away for the weekend as my brother has back surgery. I left Paige home with her dad and older cousin. Paige has long curly locks at this age, and the locks frame her face so perfectly. I come home on Sunday, and get my stuff put away. I go to Paige's room, in which she is hiding. I found this to be weird because she is usually very happy to see me. I take one look at her and yell for her dad, who mind you is also scared. Paige decided to play barber while mommy wasn't home. She had cut her hair so short, that she barely had any bangs left. The next day I take her to a professional hair dresser to fix this mess I came home to. Paige went from having beautiful long hair, to a pixie cut so short you could see her scalp.
Paige was set to start kindergarden that year, and she was a whole new person going into kindergarden then coming out of preschool the previous year. This was the first year I noticed some changes in Paige. She never was one to play with barbies, or dress up. She always loved being with PAPA, and working on the motorcycle. This even meant changing the oil in the bike, and being covered from head to toe with that oil as well. We had many baths at grandma and grandpa's house that year. This was the year that so many things changed, and is continuing to change. She is 13 years old now and starting middle school. In the next chapter I will cover her 1st grade year. Stay tuned for the many chapter's of "My daughter's life can be an inspiration to many and they just may not know it yet!"
