Schaffer named to ARC All-Academic team

The American Rivers Conference recently announced its 2020 Fall Academic All-Conference Team and Buena Vista University was recognized with 29 student-athletes on the list.

Deanna Schaffer, a native of Alta and a graduate of Alta-Aurelia High School, is among the list of Beavers honored.

To be eligible, a student-athlete must be a member of one of the conference’s eight sponsored fall sports, be at least a sophomore in academic standing at his or her current institution with at least one full year of residency, and maintain at least a 3.5 GPA or higher on a 4.0 scale.
