The Alta-Aurelia Community Educational Foundation would like to thank the Buena Vista County Community Foundation for the matching funds grant to make new technology possible.

“Thank you so much to the Alta-Aurelia Community Educational Foundation and the Buena Vista County Community Foundation for helping with the expense of purchasing 33 Chromebooks for the Alta Elementary School. This has helped our building have some type of electronic device for every student in TK-4th grade. The students are loving the opportunity to call these Chromebooks their own,” said Stacy Mueller, Alta Elementary Principal.

The Alta-Aurelia Community Educational Foundation matched funds with the Buena Vista County Community Foundation for the purchase, which provided more technology to the primary grades to increase educational access to technology and increase student achievement in mathematics and reading skills. The Chromebooks have helped assist students to have access to online curriculum and educational software in which they could not otherwise be exposed.
