Drishti Dancers get first taste of competition

Friday, February 28, 2020

Last weekend, February six dancers from Alta’s Drishti School of Dance & Fitness took part in their first ever dance competition, at the Iowa Western Community College Performing Arts Center, in Council Bluffs. “They’ve worked really hard, and got excellent feedback. Each routine scored four star ratings, and the jazz routine ‘Oops, I Did it Again,’ took home fifth overall,” said instructor Christina Allen. “Competing at this level is a big deal in the dance world, and Drishti Dance is excited to start taking dancers to more competitions. Not only did my girls learn a lot from the judges’ feedback, but it helped boost their confidence considerably.
