Deadline nears for BV Foundation grants
Applications are now being accepted for the 2019 Fall Grant Cycle by the Buena Vista County Foundation.† The application form can be downloaded from the foundationís web page at www.bvcountyfoundation.com or requested by email at email@example.com.
The deadline for turning in applications in the Fall 2019 round of grants is 4 p.m. on Thursday, October 31.
Grants can be mailed to the Foundation at P.O. Box 771, Storm Lake, Iowa 50588 or they can be dropped off at the Storm Lake Public Library (609 Cayuga Street) in Storm Lake, Iowa.† Any grants not received and in hand by 4:00 P.M. on October 31st, 2019 will be returned and not considered in the 2019 Fall round of grants.
The Buena Vista County Community Foundation seeks to provide grant funding to local not-for-profit groups in Buena Vista County whose project will help to make Buena Vista County better in some way.† Grants are given for capital projects.† The foundation does not provide grant funding for operational programming.
In an effort to assist organizations who wish to apply for a grant in the spring grant cycle the foundation will be posting tips and tricks on the foundationís Facebook page is www.facebook.com/bvccf.† Questions can be submitted via our Facebook page or email provided they are submitted at least five days prior to the grant deadline.
Funds granted through the grant program must benefit Buena Vista County residents and/or organizations.† Applicants must be a 501.C.3 organization or a governmental or educational organization such as a City, County, or Community School District or utilize a fiscal agent.
