The Buena Vista University Science Center is home to scores of wild beasts, or at least, what’s left of them. Mounted specimens, skins and skeletons populate the atrium and the upper floor, giving the building a nature appeal. At left, a North Chinese Leopard sprawled on a tree branch in an upper hallway. At right, an African elephant skeleton greets visitors beside the center entry.
