St. Mary’s creates Hall of Fame for athletes and coaches

Storm Lake St. Mary’s High School Athletic Booster Club, in conjunction with the St. Mary’s Athletic Department, has created a Hall of Fame to recognize the accomplishments of past athletes and coaches.

The initial induction ceremony will be held on February 9, 2018 at the half time of the St. Mary’s boys’ varsity game.

This year’s inductees will be automatic qualifiers, (State Champion-Individual or Team) per the St. Mary’s Hall of Fame Guidelines, and include individuals:  Bill Naughton, golf, (Class of 1982) and Tom Laven, golf, (Class of 1984) and teams: the 1993 baseball and the 2011 basketball teams.

The honorees have been invited to return to St. Mary’s for the February 9 induction ceremony.
