Here’s some information about the upcoming winter concert. The winter concert will be on Monday, Dec. 11 beginning at 7 p.m. in the high school auditorium. The concert band, orchestra, and choirs will be performing.

The Tornado Jazz ensemble is also on the program. The band will start us off with “Christmas Medley” which includes ten carols to get you in the Christmas spirit. The jazz ensemble will also be performing “Joy Revisited.” The orchestra will be playing “Christmas Eve/Sarajevo” which is a rendition of “Carol of the Bells”, and “Dance Parhelia.”

The jazz choir is slated to sing “Mary, Did You Know?”

The combined choirs will perform a couple of selections from “A Ceremony of Carols” and “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas.”

The concert will end with “Hallelujah” from Handel’s “Messiah” and we hope to have many audience members sing along.
