The Northwest Iowa Choral Directors Association welcomed 24 Storm Lake Middle School students to their regional 8th grade Honor Choir, hosted by LeMars High School on Tuesday, November 7.

These students rehearsed choral music with other middle school singers from schools in Northwest Iowa and performed a concert for a crowd of over 1,000 parents and music directors that evening in the LeMars High School gymnasium.

Guest choral directors for this year’s event were David Fog of Emmetsburg and Jill Anderson from Cedar Rapids. Storm Lake Middle School student, Yeeshai Valdivia, was a featured soloist in the evening concert.
