King’s Pointe Resort & Weigand- Omega Management hosted their 1st Annual Teacher’s Dream School Supply Drive through the My Neighbor’s Keeper Initiative.

Each year teachers spend a great deal of money to provide school supplies for their classroom out of their own pockets. The goal of the initiative was to help provide teachers with items they need for their classes to provide a fun and interactive environment for kids.

Both King’s Pointe employees and outside guests from the waterpark were involved with the drive. During the initiative, if a guest brought in school supplies to the indoor/outdoor admissions, they received a discounted waterpark admission.

“We are thankful for the overwhelming response we received from our employees and the community. Over 2000 school supplies were donated to these schools and it would not have been possible without the local support,” stated Elissa Doebel, Director of Sales, “We look forward to seeing this initiative continue to grow each year.”
