Alta-Aurelia Schools start classes August 23

An Open House for Alta-Aurelia students in grades 7-8 and their parents will be at the Middle School in Aurelia on Monday, August 21 from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m, and an Open House for those in grades 9-12 will be at the high school in Alta that same day, from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Classes for students in Grades 7 through 12 will begin on Wednesday, August 23, and it will be a full day of school with normal dismissal times.

For parents of students in JK/TK through 6th grade, conferences will be scheduled on either Wednesday, August 23 or Thursday, August 24 for parent’s to meet individually with the child’s teacher(s) to learn more about the child’s class prior to the start of school, and for the parents to begin building a positive rapport with the classroom teacher.

Students are invited to attend as well, so they can find their lockers, classrooms, desk, and meet their teachers. Classes for the JK - 6th grade students will start on Friday, August 25.
