Mother bangs sonís head into floor

On the morning of Wednesday, December 21, the Storm Lake Police Department took a report of a possible child abuse from the Iowa Department of Human Services.

Police conducted a joint investigation with the Iowa Department of Human Services and allege that Faelyn Deondra Nicole Wilson, age 35 of Storm Lake, assaulted her 14 year old son on Monday, December 19, when an argument occurred over household rules at their residence which escalated into Wilson throwing the child to the ground, sitting on him, and banging his head into the floor.

The victim sustained facial injuries, bruising and swelling which he was treated for at the Buena Vista Regional Medical Center on December 20.

On Wednesday afternoon the SLPD located Wilson at her residence and following further investigation arrested her and charged her with Child Endangerment Resulting in Bodily Injury (class D felony). She was booked into the Buena Vista County Jail on a $5,000 bond.
