Warriors fell to Emmetsburg, ending their 20-6 season

The Alta-Aurelia softball team ended its season on Wednesday July 9 to Emmetsburg. The Warriors were 20-6-0 on the season.

For Alta-Aurelia on the season, DJ Flores went 36-87 with 28 runs, a home run, 17 RBIs, six doubles, seven bases on balls, eight strike outs and 12 stolen bases, Tayler Rohwer went 28-81 with five runs, seven doubles, a home run, 23 RBIs, two bases on balls, eight strike outs and a stolen base and Micah Barnes went 29-85 with 29 runs, three doubles, three triples, 13 RBIs, eight bases on balls, two strike outs and 13 stolen bases.

Christena Heschke went 29-85 with 21 runs, two doubles, two triples, 17 RBIs, two bases on balls, two strike outs and six stolen bases, Jenna Snyder went 23-70 with 11 runs, two doubles, 21 RBIs, four bases on balls, six strike outs, and eight bases on balls and Jacee Ahnemann went 25-77 with 15 runs, four doubles, 13 RBIs, two bases on balls, seven strike outs and nine stolen bases.

Morgan Jacobsen went 11-36 with seven runs, six RBIs, a bases on balls, five strike outs and four stolen bases, Madison Duhn went 16-62 with 12 runs, a double, 11 RBI, four bases on balls, 18 strike outs and 12 stolen bases, Lily Peterson went 11-55 with eight runs, a triple, eight RBIs, two bases on balls, 12 strike outs and nine stolen bases, Bailey Duhn went 8-42 with 12 runs, a double, eight RBI, 10 bases on balls, 11 strike outs and five stolen bases and Danielle Peterson went 1-1 with a run, a RBI, a strike out and a stolen base.

Emily Beukelman went 1-5 with a run, a RBI, a strike out and a stolen base, Katie Van Berkum went 2-12 with three runs, two RBIs, four bases on balls, six strike outs and two stolen bases, Emma Kaskey had 15 runs and eight stolen bases and Abby Hill went 0-3 with a run, a RBI and a base on balls.

On the mound this season, Rohwer pitched a total of 142 2/3 innings giving up 55 runs, 34 were earned. Rohwer allowed 119 hits, 31 bases on balls and struck out 163. Rohwer's ERA this season was 1.67. Also pitching for the Warriors this season was Snyder who contributed 23 and 1/3 innings giving up eight runs, four were earned. Snyder allowed 19 hits, four bases on balls and struck out 11. Snyder's ERA this season was 1.20.
