Following the purchase of its building, the Citizens First National Bank branch at Flindt and Richland Drives will be closing April 30.
County assessor's records show Bay Breeze LLC purchased the property for $230,000 on Dec. 26.
"As of May 1, the building will be for rent," Developer Jim Bauer told the Pilot-Tribune Wednesday. Fast food companies, whose names have not been disclosed, have shown "strong interest" in the property, as well as a convenience store.
"I'm talking with different companies, and there's just a lot of possibilities," Bauer said.
Harry Schaller, Citizens First National Bank President, said the decision was made as the bank improves its branch delivery systems.
"It's one we thought we needed to close," he said.
