CHEROKEE - The Storm Lake girls dropped their 19th-game in a row on the road at Cherokee Friday night as the Braves received 33 points from Megan and Kaely Hummel in a 81-28 final.
The win snapped a four-game skid for the Braves as Kaely Hummel finished with 18, Megan Hummel 15 and Alexia Gerdes 14.
The Tornadoes were led by nine points from Brenna Richter. Erin Schuelke turned in seven, Chyann Smith five, Rylee James three and Erika James two.
The Tornadoes are back on the road Tuesday night in LeMars.
