We at AMU would like to thank you for your patience as we work to improve our current water situation.

Our water plant has suffered serious malfunctions and steps are being taken to rectify the situation. A temporary water filter is now in place until our permanent filter arrives. You should now be experiencing improved water quality. Our spring hydrant flushing will be scheduled as weather permits to also help clear the pipe lines.

The other item you may notice is the water hardness. AMU has invested considerable funds over the years to control the hard water issues. We ordered the latest filtering technology from GE Water to address the hardness. This is a service and expense that many communities do not offer their customers, but AMU believes it to be a valuable asset.
