BURNSIDE - After suffering their fourth loss of the season earlier in the week at the hands of undefeated St. Mary's, the Newell-Fonda boys bounced back to pick up their 10th win of the season Friday night, downing Southeast Webster Grand, 69-28.
The Mustangs led 15-2 after one and used a 22-6 edge in the third quarter to coast to the 41-point victory.
Dalton Anderson led 11 Mustangs in the scoring column with 12 points, eight rebounds and six steals. Brady Dicks had 10 points, four rebounds and three steals, Dillon Anderson had nine points and five rebounds, Jonathan Johnson had eight points, Rigo Johnson had seven points and four assists, and Brady Bohe had six points and three rebounds.
Newell-Fonda outrebounded winless SEWG, 38-24. The Mustangs hit 28-of-62 shots on the night.
The Mustangs remain in conference action at home tonight against Laurens-Marathon.
