Rebel girls best L-M

LAURENS - Neither team dazzled offensively, but the Sioux Central girls knocked down a few more than Laurens-Marathon Tuesday, picking up a 38-23 win.

The Rebels 10-2 after one and would concede just 21 points over the next three quarter to lock up the win.

Taylor Fahnlander led SxC with nine pionts, three rebounds and three steals. Nicole Hamilton scored eight and Becca Herwig had seven points and three rebounds.

Briley Sullivan led the Chargers with 12 points on 5-of-8 shooting. Lauren Link had nine points, three rebounds, two blocks and two steals.

The Chargers (2-11) host Clay Central Everly tonightand visit Poky Friday. The Rebels (9-5) visit South Central Calhoun Friday.
