SIOUX RAPIDS - The Sioux Central boy's basketball team notched their third win in four tries since returning from break Friday night, taking care of Southeast Webster-Grand, 65-48.
Rebel senior Austin Glawe equaled a school record with 42 points as he knocked down 15-of-22 from the field and 12-of-15 at the foul line. Glawe added 14 rebounds, three assists, five steals and two blocks in the game.
Tim Saunders added seven points and five rebounds, Dallas Heuton had five points and eight rebounds, Colton Miller scored five, and Christian Sylvester had two points and 10 assists.
"There wre some good things we did throughout the game," said SxC head coach Steve Tjaden. "We just need to make some mental adjustments now as we went the second time through the conference."
The Rebels improve to 4-7 on the year with the win and will visit Laurens-Marathon tonight.
