Shalla--Langner exchange vows

Stephanie Dawn Shalla and Brian Alan Langner, both of Farragut, were united in marriage on Sept. 29, 2012 at the Lied Lodge and Conference Center in Nebraska City, Neb. A 4:30 p.m. outdoor ceremony was officiated by Shonda Anderson of Lawrence, Kan.

Parents of the bride are Guy and LaDonna Shalla of Fairbury, Neb. Grandparents are the late Edward and Anna Shalla, and William and Lucinda Nieman.

Parents of the groom are Mark and Deborah Langner of Early. Grandparents are Helen and the late Gladwyn Langner of Storm Lake, and Ron and Janette Willer of Schaller.

The bride was escorted to the altar by her father. She wore a white satin pick-up gown with appliqué detailing at an empire waist. She carried a bouquet with fall colored flowers of red and orange. The couple was married under an arbor constructed by the groom.

Personal attendant to the bride was Jessica Parmley of Lincoln, Neb., friend of the bride. Ceremony reader was Heather Kouba of Bellevue, Neb., friend of the bride. Guestbook attendants were Kouba and Shanita Rice of Omaha, friends of the bride.

Matron of Honor was Stacy Lytle of Crete, Neb., friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Jodie Stillwell of Atchison, Kan.; Aimee Randolph of Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands; and Heather Mumm of Geneva, Neb., all friends of the bride. They wore knee length deep red dresses.

Best man was Curt Ellis of Grimes, friend of the groom. Groomsmen were Jon Lane of Lander, Wyo. and Mark Jirak of Shell Rock, both friends of the groom, and Jeff Langner of Knoxville, cousin of the groom.

Ushering guests were Tim Shalla of Lincoln, Neb., brother of the bride and Brad Skuodas of Hinton and Lee Sykes of Colfax, both friends of the groom.

A reception immediately followed the ceremony, also at the Lied Lodge.

The bride is a graduate of the University of Nebraska--Lincoln, and the University of St. Mary in Leavenworth, Kan. She is the Montgomery County Extension Program Coordinator. The groom is a graduate of Iowa State University and is a Senior Business Analyst for ConAgra Foods.

After a honeymoon in Waikiki Beach, Hawaii, the couple resides outside Farragut.
