The 53rd Annual High School Honor Choir will be held on Monday, Jan. 21, at Dordt College in Sioux Center. This year's guest conductor is Dr. David Holdhuisen. Dr. Holdhuisen teaches at the University of South Dakota in Vermillion.

Deb Hoffman, Dallas Schau, Shelby Blomberg, Mallory Bjork, Eric Rix, Jonathon Lansink, Owen Paulsen and Jacob Meyers will represent Sioux Central in this year's honor choir. They will sing in the Women's Choir, Men's Choir and Mixed Choir. The honor choir is comprised of more than 40 Northwest Iowa High Schools and each school may bring up to two mixed quartets.

The singers will rehearse all day and perform at 7 p.m. in the B.J. Haan Chapel on the Dordt College campus. The public is invited to attend the evening performance.
