Bar owner and woman accused of doing drugs at Sand Bar

Two people were arrested in a Linn Grove bar Christmas Eve on drug charges. A Buena Vista County Sheriff's Deputy was conducting a routine bar check at Bobby's Sand Bar, and discovered two people in the bar allegeldy openly using a controlled substance. Robert D. Wiese, age 60, the owner of the bar, and Debra R. Chapman, 59, both of Greeneville, were detained in the business. Drug paraphernalia and suspected controlled substances were located on the suspects, according to a sheriff's statement. They were placed under arrest and transported to the Buena Vista County Jail. Wiese was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Chapman was charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. The investigation is continuing.
