Jerri Louis, BVRMC Employee Health & Infection Preventionist visited Lori Warkentin's 3rd Grade Partners In Excellence class and told them about proper hand washing with the flu season here.

The children rubbed a special lotion on their hands and then put them under an ultra violet light, which showed them how dirty their hands were.

The children then washed their hands again, then putting them under the light to see how clean they had gotten them.

PIE committee member Cheryl Altena, BVRMC, also read them a short story about proper hand washing.
