Soup luncheon, recognition Jan. 6

The Alta Firemen's Association will host a soup luncheon on Sunday, Jan. 6 , 11 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Alta Fire Station.

Four retiring firemen - Chief Denny Launderville, Assistant Chief Willie DeMan, Brad Pedersen and Mike Koth - will be recognized for their service at a short program at 12:30 p.m.

On the menu will be chili, chicken noodle soup and cheesy potato soup, dessert and a drink. Freewill donation.
