HOLSTEIN - Ridge View hosted tournament action Saturday, finishing third in a six-team field. The Raptors scored 129, putting them behind South Central Calhoun (185) and Sheldon/South O'Brien (158). Sioux City West was fourth at 86.5, Coon Rapids fifth at 78.5 and Alta-Aurelia sixth at 58.
The Raptors had two first place finishers as Jason Kenny went 5-0 at 138, moving him to 19-3 on the season. Nathan Myrice also went 5-0 at heavyweight to move to 14-4 on the season. Second place went to Luke Kliegl (15-2) at 120 and Michael Davidson (18-3) at 220, and third to Henry Sippel at 195, Matt Wandrey at 170, Dru Kenny at 160, Peyton Boyle at 126 and Dylan Richards at 113. Kyle Schiernbeck was fourth at 182.
Alta-Aurelia was led by third place finishes from Dylan Ohlson at 152 and Garrett Van Houten at 220. Fourth went to Colten Larson at 106, Cody Cameron at 132, Manny Murillo at 170 and Christian Jarvis at 195.
Ridge View returns to action on Janurary third at Maple Valley-Anthon-Oto. The Raptors sit at 8-2 on the year in dual meet action.
Alta-Aurelia heads to Kingsley tonight to take on K-P, South Central Calhoun and Woodbury Central.
