Realtors group spreads holiday cheer to local non-profit organizations

Seven local organizations received donations Wednesday morning from the United Counties Board of Realtors. Seven local non-profit organizations Wednesday morning received donations from the United Counties Board of Realtors.

Recipients include Faith, Hope and Charity; Upper Des Moines Opportunity; Star Spangled Spectacular; Santa's Castle; Genesis Development; The Lord's Cupboard and the Pilot-Tribune's Mr. Goodfellow.

"We just want to give back to the community," said Joe Aube, United Counties Board of Realtors. Member fees for the long-time real estate professionals group were used for the donations.

Associate members not present for the check presentation include Citizens National Bank, Central Bank, Security Trust and Savings Bank, MetaBank, United Bank of Iowa, Northwest Bank and appraisers Dan Robinson and Joan Kruse.
