The public is invited to join third grade students of Storm Lake Elementary School as they celebrate the holiday season Tuesday, Dec. 11, 7 p.m., at the school gym. The musical performance of "Jingle Bell Jukebox" is free and open to the public. The musical will feature a 167-voice choir made up of all third grade students as well as a soloist, the Grinch who stole Christmas, the owner of Ruby's Soda Shop, and many students who visit the shop. Under the direction of Pegg Havens, elementary music instructor, the students will sing many holiday favorite songs, such as "Frosty the Snowman," "Jingle Bell Rock," "Sleigh Ride," and "You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch." The musical presentation will end with a touching song of peace with the audience singing "Silent Night." Here, "Ruby" (Amyah Boyd) gathers her friends at the soda shop: Monica Chaidez, Zoe Lopez, Tyler Moon, Aysia Thammathai, Baylee Underwood, Jenna Butler, Trenton O'Brien, Ben Stark, Gracelin Dahlhauser.
