Linda was born in Iowa City on March 10, 1946 to Lloyd and Velma (Bishop) Nelson. She was confirmed at the Evangelical Free Church in Albert City. She attended Albert City grade school and Webb-Gillet Grove junior high and high school, where she graduated.
She lived her adult life in Fort Dodge and the Phoenix, Ariz area, working as a bookkeeper and the last 15 years as a medical technician in Sun City.
She was a very loving caretaker and also was a dear caretaker of her dogs.
Those left to cherish her memory are husband Al Pierce, Sun City, Ariz.; her son Lloyd (JoAnne), Peoria, Ariz.; her sister Ruth (Jerry) Richter, Newell; her niece Faith (Michael) Dick, Clear Lake; nephews Randy (Rhonda) Richter, Newell and Chris (Melissa) Richter, Storm Lake; grandnieces Mandy Richter, Melanie (Nate) Sweerin and Stephanie and Marcie Dick; grandnephews Mark, Jason and Isaac Richter; and a great-grand niece Natalie Ruth Sweerin.
She was proceeded in death by her parents Lloyd and Velma Nelson and her infant daughter Hope Ellen.
