On Thursday, Nov. 22, at approximately 8:05 p.m. the Storm Lake Police Department conducted a business check at the Storm Lake Wal-Mart Store on North Lake Avenue due to large crowds being on location as part of the "Black Friday" shopping events. While on location Wal-Mart staff directed officer's attention to a store patron who was allegedly arguing with staff about sold out merchandise. Police identified the person as Douglas Dublinske, age 41 of Odebolt. Police reportedly asked Dublinske to leave the store at which time he continued to argue with police and store staff. Police arrested Dublinske and charged him with Public Intoxication. He was booked into the Buena Vista County Jail on a $300 cash bond.
