Nationally-known traditional music band Monroe Crossing dazzles audiences with an electrifying blend of classic bluegrass, bluegrass gospel, and heartfelt originals. Their airtight harmonies, razor sharp arrangements, and on-stage rapport make them audience favorites across the United States and Canada.

Monroe Crossing will present a Christmas concert Thursday, Dec. 13, 7:30 p.m., at the Lakes Art Center in Okoboj. Tickets are on sale now for $20 or $12 for students.

The band has just released a new Christmas CD, "Joy Joy Joy" and a new album of original work. "Heartache and Stone," in the style of Bill Monroe, and has recently performed at Carnegie Hall.
