STORM LAKE - For the fourth straight year, the St. Mary's basketball teams have been a part of the Iowa Pride Challenge service project, in which they support Betty Nielsen and the Freedom Quilts program.
Gate recepts of Friday's exhibition contests with Carroll Kuemper were used as a fundraise for the project which creates pesonalized quilts for family memobers who have lost a loved one in the line of duty. The families recieve the handmade, personalized quilts at no cost.
The Panther girls open up regular season action tonight on the road as they head to Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn.
The St. Mary's boys open up their season after the Thanksgiving break on Tuesday night as they head to Denison-Schleswig. They take on Twin Lakes foe Newell-Fonda Friday night on the road as well.
