Evelyn (Hout) Bellcour, age 95, of Fort Collins, Colo. and formerly of Storm Lake, died November 4, in Fort Collins.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, November 10, at 1:15 p.m. the Buena Vista Memorial Park Cemetery in Storm Lake. Visitation with the family present will take place from 11:00-1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 10, at the Sliefert Funeral Home in Storm Lake. The Sliefert Funeral Home in Storm Lake is in charge of the arrangements.

Evelyn Bellcour was born August 16, 1917 in Alta, to Henry and Martha Andersen. Evelyn attended school in Alta and graduated from Alta High School where she enjoyed softball and basketball.

She married Melvin C. Hout on October 19. 1935. They moved to a farm near Albert City. Evelyn and Melvin had three children. She was a bookkeeper in Storm Lake, for 27 years. Her husband, Melvin, was killed in a car accident in 1968.

She married Zane Bellcour on December 30, 1974. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Storm Lake, and Fort Collins, Colo., and was a volunteer there for over 10 years. Evelyn loved to bowl and did so for 30 years. In 1972 she won the singles and doubles in the Women's National Bowling Tournament in Kansas City. She also loved flowers (especially roses); gardening and feeding the birds.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Melvin; her youngest daughter, Carol Keitges; her parents; six sisters and two brothers.

She leaves to mourn, her husband, Zane Bellcour; one daughter and son-in-law, Marion and Doyle Long of Roseville, Calif.; one son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Vicki Hout of Fort Collins, Colo.; one sister-in-law, Helen Andersen of Spencer; 9 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
