* Horses - Mikayla Landsness took one horse and received a red and white ribbon. Paige Bennett took one horse and received a blue and white ribbon. Suneva Nielsen took one horse received one blue ribbon and two reds. Jordan Bayliss took one horse and received one blue and one red ribbon.
* Rabbits - Sara Eddie took 10 rabbits had four champions, had best of four class rabbits, nine purple ribbons, and one blue ribbon. Natasha Hickman took two rabbits received a blue ribbon and a white ribbon.
* Market steers - David Movall (college member) received third in class with his steer "Buddy".
* Sheep - Clayton Ehlers took three market lambs and received three blue ribbons. Dallas Schau took one market sheep and received a blue ribbon. Mariah Orwig took three market sheep and received three blues. Austin Helbing took two sheep receiving two red ribbons.
On Tuesday, Sept. 11 the Sioux Central Participated in Barn Clean-up. This is where the chapter helped clean out all of the old wood chips in the cattle barns and replaced it with new wood chips. There were 13 Sioux Central FFA members who attended and helped.
The Chapter also had enough members for two teams for FFA Livestock Judging. The members on team A placed 14th; members were Cassidy Hanson (321 points), Michelle Hagen (352 points), Ryan Pitts (339 points), and Chris Ripke (298 points). Team B consisted of Anna Ehlers (360 points), Jordan Bayliss (314 points), Dallas Schau (236 points), and Clayton Ehlers (349 points). Members Kal Swanson judged with CC-E scoring 245 points, and Austin Helbing judged with River Valley scoring 288 points. Team A scored high enough to get them 14th place. Team B received 8th place. Following the Livestock Judging contest Congressmen Steve King came and spoke to the Livestock Judging participants.
The Sioux Central FFA chapter was also at Grandpa's barn teaching young kids about different animals on the farm. Twelve FFA members help with this.
