Both squads finished at 4-6 in conference play, with the Mustangs finishing seventh overall and the Rebels ninth.
"So very proud of my girls," said Sioux Central head coach Sue Mattson. "They never game up. It's very hard to come back and win the match after losing the first wo sets. All my players did so many good things. It was a good win."
Hallie Ehlers led the Rebels with 13 kills to go with four aces and 23 digs. Nicole Hamilton had 12 kills, 19 digs and three aces, Erin Rachuy had nine kills and 20 digs, Bailey McGuire had 19 assists and 26 digs, Nicole Scharn 10 assists, Gloria Jensen nine assists and Tayler Fahnlander 15 digs.
"We passed quite well, which enabled us to set the ball up," said Mattson. "My hitters need to continue to work on transitioning off so they can get more power to their hit. It was a good night for the Lady Rebels."
