Genesis boxes with Mickey Mouse

Monday, September 24, 2012

Genesis Development has a mousey new client.

The work activity agency that employs special-needs residents in Storm Lake and their other locations in Iowa recently received a call from Walt Disney Studios, to see if the Genesis corrugated cardboard staff could create special boxes to ship large sidewalk signs to their various theme park sites. Genesis met the need, Disney called to say they loved the boxes, and a repeat relationship is possible.

Genesis also provides specially-designed boxes, which incinerate to meet FDA requirements to burn feed, for Monsanto's U.S. and Chile shipments; government programs, NASA contractors, furniture makers, food industry companies and more. Genesis started making corrugated boxes in 1985, and have now served customers in all 50 states and several overseas locations. More than 1,300 boxes are now produced a day.
