Northwest Iowa native Jill Miller presents an early "Christmas Concert - A Benefit For Sunrise," Nov. 24 at the Orpheum Theater in Sioux City.

Showtime is 7 p.m. and Jill will be accompanied by the Mount Zion Choir.

Miller's striking voice will be showcased for this special holiday benefit concert to help a northwest Iowa retirement community program. Make plans to attend on the Saturday after's the perfect way to kick off the holiday season!

Jill is a seasoned performer and a songwriter who writes from the heart. Her live shows are full of energy and reflect the upbeat personality and style that is Jill.

Jill's Christian shows are full of honesty and encouragement and are sure to move you. The three-part harmony of Girlfriend, with her sister Barb Johnson, and Colene "Coco" Walters, packages music from the 1940s-80s.

She can also produce a concert of country covers and originals such as "Menopause Blues."

Jill has been singing since she was five years old. She has performed numerous times at the Bluebird Cafe in Nashville and has also opened for country legend Loretta Lynn. She travels to Nashville frequently to co-write, perform, and study her craft of songwriting. Jill released her first single, "Worry," in 2009. "It's been a thrill working and recording with Jamie," says Jill. "I'm excited about releasing my first single to radio, and I think Worry will touch people's hearts because it talks about how in the midst of the craziness of this world and all the uncertainty, we need to trust that God is in control."
