Linda was united in marriage to Kenne Ray Steen on August 16, 1968. The couple was blessed with two children, Dawn and Kenne, before they later divorced. On December 5, 1986, Linda and Tim "Macklin" Anderson were married. Two children, Mallory and Matthew, were born to their union. They later divorced.
As a young woman, Linda took cooking classes and macramé classes, which she enjoyed very much. She took great pleasure from playing cards and reading, and she liked to shop. Over the years, Linda was employed at Duffy's in Alta and The Hideout and Lobo's in Schaller. Linda will be remembered as a kind person, a loving mother and grandmother, a caring sister and aunt, and a friend to all.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Dawn Llaine (Steen) Larson, ex-husband, Tim Anderson, and a brother, Walter Rath, Jr., in infancy.
Left to cherish Linda's memory are her daughter, Mallory (Rick) Roling, and her sons, Kenne (friend Marsha) Steen, and Matt Anderson, all of Schaller; grandchildren: Steven, Amber and Brittany; sisters: Dee Ann Nissen of Storm Lake, Sue (Tony) Nielsen of Storm Lake, Marlys "Marlie" Grieme of Nevada, and Janni (Ross) Leeper of Adair; other family members and a host of friends.
