Lewis Iosty, age 94, of Storm Lake, died on Wednesday, July 4, at the Buena Vista Regional Medical Center in Storm Lake.
Private family services will be held. The Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in Storm Lake is in charge of the arrangements.
Lewis Arthur Iosty was born July 4, 1918 in Centerville, S.D., the son of William and Mabel (Princelow) Iosty. He attended school in Centerville.
On February 18, 1949, Lewis was united in marriage to Elva Marie Davis Occhibone in Centerville. This union was blessed with two children: Joe and Dennis.
Lewis was a member of The Reorganized Church of Latter Day Saints, as well as a member of the Odd Fellows. Over the years, he found much enjoyment in hunting and fishing.
Those left to cherish his memory include his son: Dennis (Pamela) Iosty of Storm Lake; grandchildren: Angela Bino of Sioux City; Tamra (Rick) Bennett of Hazel, Ky; Brenda (Andrew) Miller of Ida Grove; great grandchildren: Jessica Bino; Bob, Sam and Carrie Miller; Keely, Mya and Ty Bennett; daughter-in-law, Suzette Occhibone of Bronson; extended family and friends.
Preceding Lewis in death are his parents; his wife, Elva; son, Joe; four brothers and two sisters.
