FONDA --- A special addition to the Fonda All- School Reunion on July 28 will be a Memory Lane display of Al Bell posters, photos, plus the opportunity to purchase the book, "Al Bell Remembered", written and signed by his daughter Becky. Bell is known for his school assemblies from the 1950s to the 1970s. This Iowa legend traveled the world and then brought back his stories and adventures in film, presentations and artifacts to rural Iowa schools.

The Fonda All-School Reunion is scheduled for Saturday, July 28 at the KC Hall in Fonda with registration beginning at 3 p.m. and capping the event with "Sprinkles of Stories, Memories and Friends: A Reunion Musical".

The special display is in honor of the Second Al Bell Film Festival to be held on Sept. 19 in Stuart, . Twenty-eight of those old 16 mm. movies have been transferred to DVD. This chronologically packaged film library will debut at the Festival, but Fonda alumnae will have the opportunity to order these films in advance at the reunion. For more information or to RSVP, alumni and friends may call Sherry Gustafson at 712-288-6256 or email fonda.asrc@gmail.com. People are encouraged to RSVP by Saturday, July 21.

Al Bell fans may order DVDs of Bell's many films as well and festival reservations for the Stuart, festival may be made at www.whitepoleroad.com.
