Students who have completed 8th through 12th grade were eligible to attend this event.
You don't even have to be in 4-H to attend this conference! The participants experienced campus life, and met new people from across the state. They had fun while learning by doing, dancing the nights away, and serving the community. The participants learned new things to take back to their community and school, and might even had discovered something new about themselves. There were even opportunities for the youth to share their talents with the rest of the delegation through small group discussion, the Conference Chorus, and a Talent Show.
If the youth had a specific interest in either animal science, shooting sports, or crop production, they were able to attend Animals Science ROUND-UP, Shooting Sports, or CSI: Crops!
The last night of the conference the youth participated in a sit-down meal held in the Hilton Coliseum, an awards program, entertainment by an ocopela group, and the evening ended with a dance in Hilton Coliseum. Sac County Youth that attended the Conference were: Front Row L to R: Karlie Mandernach, Hannah Feilmeier, Lauren Houska, Beth Stangl, Brooke Hoeppner, and Abby Clark. Middle Row L to R: Steph Erpelding, Sac County Youth Coordinator, Renae Drey, Aubrey Houska, Morgan Ackerman, Nicole Langbein, Emily Kenny, and Alex Roth. Back Row L to R: Jason Kenny, Regina Carlson, Grace Feilmeier, Tyler Pickhinke, Kara Cowlham, Tyler Witzke, Hope Brotherson, Trevor Schnuckel, Chanin Johnson, Lexi Schmidt, and Damon Cook.
