The Alta-Aurelia Dance Team will be operating the food stand at the Buena Vista County Fair as a fundraiser for the fourth year.

Under direction of Kayla Wilson, the dance team will be changing up the menu this year but continue to offer some of the all-around favorite foods.

On the menu for breakfast will be French toast casserole, egg bake and coffee cake.

On the menu for lunch, snack time and supper will be fries, cheese balls, hamburgers, cheese burgers, pork burgers, hot dogs and new this year shredded beef, Philly cheese steak sandwiches, pork tenderloins, corn dogs, blooming onions, salads, chicken salad sandwiches, fruit, cold meat sandwiches and soft serve ice cream. And of course there will be home-made pies again!

Beverages will include pop, lemonade, water, iced tea, iced coffee and Powerade.

Menu items will be priced $1 to $5.

Wilson is excited about the new menu and being able to offer those in attendance at the fair a larger variety to select from.

The food stand will be open Wednesday, July 11, 7 a.m.-3 p.m.; Thursday, July 12-Saturday, July 14, 7 a.m.-8 p.m. and Sunday, July 15, 7 a.m.-3 p.m.

The dance team girls will take their turns serving as waitresses so come back often so you can meet all the girls - and support their team.

Parents will be doing the cooking at the food stand kitchen.
